Semporna In Global Tourism Center

Semporna is a small area located on the east coast of Sabah. Semporna District in the past is not so obvious and not so famous as it does not have any privileges. But since the government opened the door to foreign operators to develop several islands in the area such as Sipadan Island Semporna, Mabul Island and Mataking, boosted Semporna District name as one of the global tourist will appear on par with some of the main tourist visitors .


In the Semporna district alone there are about 20 small islands that can be developed as tourism potential. Where geographically the most beautiful and the sea bed which is protected from any damage made the islands in the Semporna district is very suitable to serve beautiful sea garden and the infinite promise of satisfaction to the visitors. Sipadan Island, which is famous throughout the world with the beauty and uniqueness of its seabed has led to major changes in the local economy, with tourism operators from abroad for local residents can take to increase the available income from this tourism.
